AI Chat based playbook builder

The AI Playbook Builder is a guided chat that walks you through creating a high-quality playbook, step by step. At each stage it tells you which documents to upload and why each one helps, so nothing is left to guesswork.

Where your materials don't cover something, it asks how you'd like to handle it (for example, escalations) rather than making assumptions.

You can use the Playbook Builder in the Browser and in the Microsoft Word Add-in.

In your workspace, click New Playbook, then choose Build with an AI chat.

The chat opens and takes it from there. It first asks the type of agreement you're creating a playbook for, and whose paper you're on (your own template, or the other side's).

The chat explains which documents give the best results:

• Your own playbook or contracting guidelines

• A first round of markups to show your preferred positions

• Executed contracts to show where you'd land

• Your own template

You can upload more documents than was possible in the previous playbook builder. You can also upload documents in over 60 languages, and the AI will build out your playbook in that language.

If you have no supporting documents, that's fine. The AI can still build a strong first version. It checks with you at each stage that you're happy with its approach, so you stay in control.

Where your materials don't cover something, the chat asks how you'd like to handle it:

• Fallbacks: if you're missing final fallback positions, choose whether the AI should suggest them now and add them to the draft, or stick to your materials.

• Uncovered redlines: choose whether to escalate everything, or have the AI suggest options for anything the playbook doesn't cover.

• Your own rules: add any other clauses you care about or escalation rules (for example, escalating anything cyber, data protection, or security-related to IT).

Once you've answered, the AI builds the playbook in line with your choices and confirms before finalising.

When you're happy with the playbook, click Save Playbook. It lands in your playbooks, where you can edit and refine as normal.

If you don't save, your work isn't lost. You'll find your build under Drafts in your playbooks. Click in to resume and carry on where you left off.
