How to translate Playbooks in DraftPilot
DraftPilot works seamlessly across more than 58 languages. This means you can review, for example, a German-language contract using an English playbook. However, if you want the drafting suggestions to feel more natural, you may get higher-quality results by translating your playbook into the same language as the contract.
Why Translate a Playbook?
Improved drafting suggestions: Any playbook can be used against contracts in other languages. However, a translated playbook gives the AI one less step to handle, often resulting in smoother, more accurate suggestions.
Steps to Translate a Playbook
Open your workspace and locate the playbook you want to translate.
Download the playbook:
Select the playbook.
Click the menu button and choose Download as PDF.
Create a new playbook:
Click New Playbook.
Select the option Just tell the AI what you need.
Instruct the AI to translate:
Write: “Translate the attached playbook from [original language] to [target language].”
Attach the PDF you downloaded.
Confirm and create: DraftPilot will generate a translated version of your playbook in the new language.
